The various means to identify Pin 1 include:<br />
* A Circle or Dot next to Pin 1<br />
* A Half Circle or Notch on the end of the chip, Pin 1 is to the left of the notch.<br />
* A Beveled Edge or Notch down one side of pins of the IC, Pin 1 is the left most pin on the notched side<br />
* A Beveled Edge on the end of the package, Pin 1 is to left of the Beveled Edge.<br />
